James Dondero was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, United States of America. He is the Chief Executive officer of Highland Capital Management. James Dondero is an alumnus of the University of Virginia. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. James proceeded to pursue investments in real estates. Later on after graduating, his career was taken by a tough economy into a different direction. He began managing for American Express in fixed-income assets of $1 billion each.
James Dondero and mark Okada joined hands and came up with Highland capital management Company. After a while, James had to move the company from Los Angeles to California. He worked extra hard to minimize government taxes, time Zone and Ts traffic.
