One of the Texas Super Doctors, Dr. Jennifer L. Walden is a talented aesthetic plastic surgeon and a mother of two boys. At an early age, Dr. Walden was drawn to the sciences and medicine. Her father, a dentist, and her mother was a surgical nurse. Exposed to the medical field at a young age gave her the desire to attend the University of Texas after graduating Austin’s Anderson High School. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Walden continued her education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Furthering her career, Dr. Walden moved to New York to pursue aesthetic surgery. She had been accepted for a fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. During her time in Manhattan, she became an associate of the world-famous Dr. Sherrel Aston.
After eight years in New York, Dr. Walden became a mother of twin boys Houston and Rex. Dr. Walden concluded she wanted to raise her twins closer to family and traveled back to Austin in 2011. Moving back to Austin allowed Dr. Walden to further her profession. She is now one of the top-rated doctors in Texas, winning several awards and peer-nominations.
Dr. Jennifer L. Walden has appeared in many publications like Texas Monthly and even appeared on FOX News Channel. As one of the few female doctors in cosmetic plastic surgery, she states that she provides care with a feminine touch.
Dr. Walden notes that her patients do not feel intimidated to expose their bodies to a female plastic surgeon. Working in Plastic surgery there is a bad reputation, but Dr. Walden specializes in everyday people. From mommy makeovers to soft tissue injectables and breast implants, she is taking the time to make sure that the public is aware of aesthetic plastic surgery and all the good it can do for them.
Dr. Jennifer Walden has appeared on many different outlets like television and magazines, but she is still working with patients to keep them comfortable. She still works in Austin, Texas but is looking to serve the whole nation as well.
